Etsy Store, Coming Soon!

It’s actuallyunder construction this time- and with the possibly a website of my own, down the line. For now, if I can get Etsy stocked, I will be happy. My good friend is taking over the uploading and posting of items, since I am such a techie-dolt I can’t figure it out. You know, the real reason artists always die in poverty isn’t because of lack of output- it’s because we can’t figure out how to function in the world~! I have six bags here, complete and ready to mail out, and I just can’t figure out how to pack them and get them to the post office. I know- that makes me sound really lame- but it’s just such a creativity killer to have to stop making stuff and switch from Create into Real world.

Anyway, be on the lookout. I’m going to do bags, like the custom one above, smaller totes, quilt patterns and painting. And maybe anything else I feel like making. Come one, come all. Wish me luck!

  1. Yay!! I’m so excited to see all your fun Etsy goodies!

I have a problem with the business/real world part of this stuff too. I mean, who ever really wants to hit the post office? It’s not a fun place to be.

  2. Good luck! The bag looks gorgeous, and your paintings are gorgeous, so I really can’t imagine they will sell anything but well.

  3. Ooh I am excited! Tingley-excited.
I wish I was your neighbor. I could totally rock at the post-office part for you and let you create in peace.

  4. I am so excited! I’ve admired all your abilities and results from afar for a good year or so now. Good luck with it all. Be sure to let us know so we can shop!

  5. That’s great! You should have the post office come to you! Go to the USPS web site and check out the Carrier Pick Up (under schedule a pick up) best part is…it’s FREE! (you just have to have the postage paid, yopu can even print of a shipping lable from USPS!) Looking forward to seeing all the fun things you create!

  6. Jeanie, I haven’t forgotten you- I was just talking with Mo today- and I bet that boy is getting pretty big and pretty dang cute about now…

  7. Now I am feeling self conscious about mixing up your name with Mo’s!

That is a really cool bag Tracy. Best wishes bridging the gap between artist and entrepreneur. You can do it!

  8. OHHHH!!!! Your Etsy store is going to be my temptation of the year! I just love your work! The bag on this post is awesome! I just am wrapping up a quilt top with that same blossom piece in it. It is a gorgeous fabric choice. I am getting weak in the knees just thinking about being able to purchase your wares!

  9. Very cute bag, and the Etsy page looks great! I can’t wait to see what you’ll put on it.

Are there prints available of your artwork, by the way? I’d be interested if you do that sort of thing.
