Valentine Pppfttt

Clearly I don’t give a donkey’s hiney about Valentines Day this year- but I did have fun making a few small things for the kids. The table is draped in sweetheart fabric, and I found my Valentine dishes.  I found the February banners in a box. After the kids were asleep I made each of them a little card filled with M&M’s and  a gift-certificate for a free ice cream at Baskin Robbins I’d had stashed in my wallet since Christmas. Cost to me? $0. For the kids? Cool beans.

  1. Your kids are so lucky to have you as their mom.
I am off to make french toast for my Valentine’s…make peanut butter blossoms with the older ones…and cuddle the youngest as he still recovers from surgery. All in all, a pretty laid back Valentine’s Day. In fact, it is a PJ day all day (no church since youngest is still recovering from his surgery)…best kind of day ever!

Happy Valentine’s Day. You have touched the lives of many people and there are many of us grateful to be counted as your friend. Have a wonderful day with your kiddos!

  2. I love that card you’re using as the pic. Adorable. We made an impromptu visit to my parents’ house, so we will “celebrate” Valentine’s tomorrow at home. My girls (well, the 5yo) has been eyeing those shiny heart-shaped balloons at the supermarket for weeks now. 🙂 Those and some homemade cards. That’s all.
